Tigers are fun. It’s one of the big reasons to play LW in my mind. But making them look good it that weird Great War German tank cam look, can make you think two tone airbrush. Not the lazy way…
So let just say we’ve talked about assembly and undercoat before and get to the lazy cam.
start with blu-tac. Pick off tiny bits and roll Em into dots. Yep dots of blu-tac. You can do that watchen a game of footy. Sick em all over the KT. Now grab a can of russian green and spray the whole tank.
Leave it to dry completely and pull off the dots. Bam! That was part one.
Now dry brush on reflective green over the russian green parts. See the difference in tone here?
Now you need a brush and saddle brown. Put a ‘lava lamp’ wavy line between the green and the yellow. (Lava lamp chunks bulge out now and then.)
Now apply green dots in the yellow and yellow dots in the green and brown. Like this.
Now paint the road wheels in green, brown and yellow. Don’t do this in any particular order or pattern. The barrel of the gun should be just green after your spray. Now apply a swatch of saddle brown. Under the gun add a wave of yellow that covers up to almost half of the gun from the underside. Finish the tank as you would our other jobs. In the end it should look like this. Enjoy!
