Fast Play Flames: the need for speed

Fast Play Flames: the need for speed

By Ry

Late last year I had my first experience in playing 1250 point fast play tournament held at Games Cube Parramatta and it was a heap of fun. The fast play challenge starts well before the dice start rolling, the limited points and mobile missions creates a challenge for Flames of war gamers of all levels. I believe my method might be a bit different to others….I start by simply basing the unpainted figures on the etched bases according to the Platoon diagram. I try to get the mix of Rifles, MG’s and SMG’s as per the diagram. I then use the normal Polly filler to fill the bases and cover over the Figure stands. A base nearly filled with Polly filler.
